I'm not a photograher. I just make pictures. My work is influenced by what is happening around me. What interests me in photography is how a split second can change perspective, thought process and approach to anything. As I sometimes say, photography is a way of living life - in split seconds.

I take pictures to be able to share a piece of my world. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes not so much. Through urban and portrait photography I look for the universal essence, a form of connection that is beneath everything and all. And so I look for beauty in everyone and everything and hope to inspire others to do so. I am managing UPPER_DECK with Kshitij in Amsterdam, a space for media arts. Created by Orsi and Kshitij, Gallery UPPER_DECK bring out stories of the world. Its a potpourri of travel and urban photography ranging from street portraits to landscapes by Kshitij and Orshi mixes traditional analogue techniques with digital interventions to create visually captivating art.
